Life..Life...Lifeee

My Goood! I missed this place :'/ My little warm blog, where I can share my thoughts, fears, life experiences, with people from all around the world. People from different countries, cultures, way of life...so different, yet so humanly common.

This last month, and this debut of February were the most stressfull, the most mentally and emotionally tiring and hard days, that I've ever had since I've been in college. That's why I didn't blog that much. But you know what? Al'hamdulliallah.

I wanted to share this, because it became too much to handle for me now.

I feel like I wanna go and leave all this negativity behind me. I wanna travel and discover new things, meet new people, especially open minded people!!! and go out from this effin' routine.

What's happening in my life right now?

Well, here's a thing. I am looking for an internship, and I wanna keep my hijab on (which is like really difficult in this country I live in). My parents are not ok with that, and I don't know what to do. Obviously I still wanna keep it. I feel so much pressure about it, you konw. I just...........I don't know.

I had an interview a few days ago, where I took it off before entering the local of the company. I'm gonna tell you something.....I was soo relieved when they told me they found someone else subhan'Allah.
I believe in Allah's plans, and taking it off for my internship makes me feel like I will miss experiencing something special, like letting things go, and putting my trust in Allah. But I wanna live that experience. So I always come to the conclusion that I want to keep it inshallah for the next interviews.
Indeed Allah is sufficient for us.

ps: Take care of yourselves guys. And remember that you you deserve the best in life! So fight for your dreams, and don't be afraid to be you!! Yala, say Bismillah :)

I am my biggest challenge

I decided that I was going to be my biggest challenge for now on.
I want and need to change certain things in my life, and about myself, but I don't try that much. I understood that change doesn't just happen. Waiting for change and wanting it so bad is not enough. I have to create opportunities, and give myself a chance. I have to do some sacrifices, like get out of my comfort zone little by little. Life is not easy, and I was afraid to face difficulties. Maybe I'm still afraid of life, but I promised myself to change for the better.

As a child I thought that when I'll grow up, everthing will be clearer, every piece of the puzzle will be in its place. But it doesn't work like that. I thought that I will figure things out, and I'll know where to go, what to do...blablabla. It doesn't just happen! I was lying to myself, because I didn't know what I wanted to do, I just accepted what others choose for me. But I try not to do it anymore.

I have projects for myself. For the first time I deared to dream and told myself that I can do it. With the help of Allah, I would like to enter the world of entrepreneurship and business, and own my own company. But how and what to do and where to start? I'm trying to figure things out.

I missed talking to you guys :) Take care everyone, Love you. Xoxo.

Internet, inspiration, motivation, initiative

"Maybe internet raised us, or maybe people are jerks" we can hear in lorde's song called a world alone.

Internet raised us for sure. We grew up with it, we learnt from it, we discovered new horizons, and new way of communicating through it.
I find my biggest inspirations on the Internet. It helped me to learn about myself, learn about the world, and learn about people. To feel less alone, and while understanding people I was understanding my own self. I read people stories. People who used to be misunderstood, mocked and some of them were the "very average kids" at their teenage years. So at some point of their lives, they decide to do the things they liked and to tell their stories looking for a little a bit of company in their journey.
Some of the stories I read, actually inspired me to change my life for the better. Be more confident about who I am, and stop trying to fit the standards. Society try to make us fit certain norms, qualifying this  person's chracteristic better than that one, which can lead a big number of people to believe that they are not good enough to succeed.

Moreover, I couldn't stop thinking these days about how if I couldn't find a job due to my hijab, why should I keep waiting people to employ me? and why do I have to change myself for others? for money? Indeed Allah is the only giver of all goodness.

Here are some words I wrote (dunno exactly what it is but...).

Don't try to fit the standards,
be who you are,
change for the better,
grow up,
be wiser than yesterday,
and by your actions,
give the exemple to others,
to do the same.

For everyone who never believed in themselves, it is time to change that. Because your not only the protagonist of your story, but you are also the writer, so make it worth the read.

Written with love,
Nahye.

ps: I am sorry guys I didn't had time to blog anything these last months, so I hope you enjoyed reading this post and see you soon Inshallah :) Love you, and keep it up!
