Internet, inspiration, motivation, initiative

"Maybe internet raised us, or maybe people are jerks" we can hear in lorde's song called a world alone.

Internet raised us for sure. We grew up with it, we learnt from it, we discovered new horizons, and new way of communicating through it.
I find my biggest inspirations on the Internet. It helped me to learn about myself, learn about the world, and learn about people. To feel less alone, and while understanding people I was understanding my own self. I read people stories. People who used to be misunderstood, mocked and some of them were the "very average kids" at their teenage years. So at some point of their lives, they decide to do the things they liked and to tell their stories looking for a little a bit of company in their journey.
Some of the stories I read, actually inspired me to change my life for the better. Be more confident about who I am, and stop trying to fit the standards. Society try to make us fit certain norms, qualifying this  person's chracteristic better than that one, which can lead a big number of people to believe that they are not good enough to succeed.

Moreover, I couldn't stop thinking these days about how if I couldn't find a job due to my hijab, why should I keep waiting people to employ me? and why do I have to change myself for others? for money? Indeed Allah is the only giver of all goodness.

Here are some words I wrote (dunno exactly what it is but...).

Don't try to fit the standards,
be who you are,
change for the better,
grow up,
be wiser than yesterday,
and by your actions,
give the exemple to others,
to do the same.

For everyone who never believed in themselves, it is time to change that. Because your not only the protagonist of your story, but you are also the writer, so make it worth the read.

Written with love,
Nahye.

ps: I am sorry guys I didn't had time to blog anything these last months, so I hope you enjoyed reading this post and see you soon Inshallah :) Love you, and keep it up!
